Versatile and sun-protective on the shoulders, it suits most conditions from spring to fall. Go for a fitted but not tight cut to limit chafing.

The tank top

How to choose your running top

Fabrics that wick sweat

Unlike cotton, which holds moisture, technical fabrics (polyester and breathable blends) pull sweat away from the skin to keep you dry and reduce the risk of irritation.

Merino wool for temperature regulation

Merino wool tops, like those from Smartwool, regulate temperature, limit odour and stay comfortable even on long runs. An excellent four-season option.

Fit and anti-chafe comfort
