Hydration vests and accessories for running

Staying well hydrated is essential to maintain performance, comfort, and safety on every run. Our selection of running hydration accessories is designed to support runners across all distances—training or racing, on the road or on the trails.

Whether you’re heading out for short daily runs or longer efforts, you’ll find practical, lightweight solutions here to carry water comfortably without getting in your way.

Choosing the right hydration gear for running

Every runner’s needs vary depending on workout duration, season, and intensity. Hydration accessories make it easier to drink regularly without breaking your stride, while maintaining optimal freedom of movement.

For short outings, a simple ergonomic handheld bottle may be enough. Over longer distances, a hydration belt, vest or pack becomes an essential ally.

Hydration belts, vests and packs: stability and freedom of movement

Hydration belts, vests and packs for running offer an excellent balance between lightweight comfort and carrying capacity. They let you carry one or more bottles or flasks, along with small essentials such as keys or gels. A hydration vest spreads the load across your shoulders for long runs and trail, while a hydration pack with a reservoir maximizes range.

Ideal for road and trail training, they pair perfectly with your men’s running shoes or women’s running shoes.

Bottles and flasks: simple, efficient hydration

Water bottles and sports flasks are go-to options for runners looking for a quick, accessible solution. Collapsible or rigid, they’re designed for an easy grip—even at speed.

They integrate seamlessly with a complete running outfit for optimal comfort in warm weather or cooler conditions.

Adjusting hydration for the season and conditions

In summer as in winter, hydration remains crucial. In cold weather, hydration accessories work well alongside winter running accessories to help you maintain a consistent training routine despite the conditions.

On longer runs, consider pairing your setup with sports nutrition solutions to support sustained effort.

Frequently asked questions

Which hydration system should I choose by distance?
Under an hour, a soft flask or handheld bottle is enough. From 1 to 2 hours, a hydration belt is ideal. Beyond that, or self-supported on the trail, a hydration vest with flasks and a reservoir is the best choice.
Belt or hydration vest?
The belt is light and discreet, perfect on the road and for medium runs. The vest spreads the weight over the shoulders, carries more water and gear, and stays stable on technical trail.
Soft flask or rigid bottle?
The soft flask compresses as it empties (less sloshing) and packs away easily. The rigid bottle is easier to fill and clean. Many runners use both depending on the run.
How much water should I carry?
As a general guide, about 400 to 800 ml per hour of effort, adjusted for heat, intensity and how much you sweat. In hot weather or over long distances, bring electrolytes too.
How do I care for flasks and reservoirs?
Rinse after each use with lukewarm water, especially after a sugary or electrolyte drink. Air dry with the opening facing down. An occasional clean with a little baking soda prevents odours.
