Energy gels and chews for running
Energy gels and chews deliver fast, immediately available fuel during your effort. Thanks to their high content of rapidly absorbed carbohydrates, they help maintain intensity, focus and performance — in races, intense training or on long distances, on road and trail alike.
Gel or chew: what's the difference?
The energy gel
Liquid or semi-liquid texture, very fast absorption: ideal for intense efforts and key race moments, when you need energy without slowing down.
The energy chew
Chewable format, fractioned energy: appreciated for its taste and the ease of dosing your intake gradually, especially on trails and long runs.
With or without caffeine?
Some gels and chews include caffeine for a boost of alertness in the final kilometres or on morning efforts. Save them for strategic moments and test your tolerance in training — caffeine is managed, not improvised on race day.
When to use them?
Before your effort: a gel or a few chews to top up your stores just before the start. During your effort: this is where they shine — a regular intake, planned by duration and intensity, to avoid energy dips. Always take your gels with a little water. After your effort: occasionally, to kick-start energy replenishment.
Our gel and chew brands, many from right here
